Tech News Artificial intelligence infrastructure may soon move beyond Earth. SpaceX and NVIDIA are working together to bring powerful AI computing systems into orbit , with the first-generation Starmind AI satellite targeted for launch in the fourth quarter of 2027. The announcement marks an ambitious attempt to take AI computing beyond traditional data centers on Earth. NVIDIA announced on August 24 that SpaceX-AI will deploy its Vera CPU for next-generation agentic AI workloads and expand its Grok infrastructure using the Vera Rubin platform. The companies are also adapting a Vera Rubin NVL72 system for the Starmind satellite.
